Dropped El at the horses and went to Gumley. Missed most of the flyable weather waiting until 9, but not much I could do. Got 4 flights before it started raining. I'm hitting LVC on the Opti packs, so those must be on the way out. I might try dropping LVC a bit so at least I can use them a bit longer. They still had 60% left.

What voltage have you got it set to? Wednesday, Thursday, Friday are looking okay all of a sudden. I might get at chance to go to the local field :)

Was 3.5, have dropped it to 3.4v.
Yeah, the weather suddenly looks a bit better, still cold though.

I think 3.3v is a good limit, which is what I'm setting my Jive Pro and Kosmik to, but only as a secondary backup. The first cut-off will be the over current feature, which I'll aim to kick in at about 20%. I might even drop the 3.3v down to 3.2v but no lower. Anyway if your packs are on the way out you could just lower it until you get a long enough flight time, and if the voltage gets too low a few times at least you won't be damaging good packs.

A few people have said 3.5 is too high and they prefer 3.0, but if the packs aren't hitting LVC, stuff 'em.
I'll drop it to 3.3. If it still does it, I'll retire the packs.
It's good to have you back Numpty.

Thank you. I must admit I'm liking my new name. I might add it to my FB name.

If the power's not good enough for long enough then bin um I suppose, but if not you could go to 3 or even 2.5 until they've totally had it.
