Wow, what a morning. Initially a bit of disappointment as the gate was locked, but I managed to get in and it turned out to be an amazing session.
-3 Degrees but absolutely no wind, crisp and perfect visibility. Worked on some gentle piro tictocs, then a flight to music with the speaker instead of headphones. Finished off with 2 flights on the 550 practising rolling flips and flipping rolls.

Are you mostly flying the 700 now? and how does it fly compared to the 550? Cheers.

Vast majority are on the 700. The 550 only comes out if I've run out of batteries and don't fancy charging.
Only 10 seconds less flight time than the 550, but it's accurate, responsive and powerful. The disk is so much more solid. Will do tictoc 8s, piro tictocs, etc easily. The 550 will do it but isn't snappy like the 700.

I thought you might be closer to 50/50 in your preference, but it's the 700 that's Number 1 then clearly.

I need to get that Goblin 700 to work this season.

You're running your 550 at a relatively high headspeed, trying to get it to feel solid in the air. This is exactly what the 700 gives you without running it hot. I like it. The 550 feels tiny now :)

Well that's you, Forza, and Mr Bee, that have all moved onto a 700 size in the last year. Must be my turn next (well I mean flying it at least. I've had the Goblin 700 for a year and a half by now I think :)

Edit: Well Neale had his 700 Nitro, but flew mostly 550s for electric, but now he mostly flies 700s for electric instead. But he's also now fallen in love with the Goblin 380, so he's two timing his 700s, what an unfaithful man he is :)
