The motor shut offs were due to the receiver failsafe. I put aluminum foil in the tail case and soldered the wire between tail boom and motor mount. Now I have continuity between tail shaft and motor mount. That should take care of static.
I also improved the satellites positions and refreshed the binding between sats and TX.
The flight went well and the logfiles showed hardly any frame loss. But the confidence to fly far away is not there, yet.
