Met up with Tony for a few flights at the field. It was a lot milder than expected again today so charged all my packs to find pack 3 won't balance. Looks like a balance plug issue. On the second flight I had to use the rescue as I messed up a move.

Rescue is at approx. 4:00 min

I got 2 flights at the field today and enjoyed just flying with the 690SX. It was beautiful day and I wish I had charged more packs!

Met up with the Massive (Dean,Pete, Scott and Tony) and got 2 flights in with the 690SX. Some quick adjustments on the tail then went on to going over a few moves. A nice little session.

Managed 4 flights today. It was cold and the sky was not at its best but got some more tuning in on the 690SX. Its almost there now, just need to sort the main shaft collar and then tweak the tail. The 550SX flew great and managed to get a few half piro moves in plus going over old stuff. Shame the thumbs were cold!

Had 4 flights at the field today, 3 on the 690SX and 1 on the 550SX. The 690 had its re maiden with the NEO and VControl and then some adjustment flights to get the tail, style and agility dialled in. Getting the tail dialled in would of been quicker if I had used the tail gain and not the rota gain! Poxy neck strap was in the way of the screen. The 550 feels excellent and I even got to try a new manoeuvre out! Now to get the 690 feeling the same!

A very cold start to the day but the sun did come out and warm us up a little. The 550x flew great but the cold fingers got to me in the end. Also got to maiden the 690SX. The first flight was uneventful and it behaved very nice indeed. The only down side was it felt very sluggish. Tried to adjust the VX1n but it didn't seem to change. I then commented about the long flight times to be told thats because the head speed was low. I thought I had set it to 2000rpm in the Jive using Mr Mels calc. I checked the head speed to find 1716 rpm! Upped it to 1953pm but ran out of batteries to test the new head speed. Was good to catch up with everyone too.
